Rajasthan Team Preview: Analysis

Rajasthan Team Preview

Champions of 2008, would like to replicate on same kind performance and win this season. Captained by Australian Skipper Steve Smith, this team has the right kind of balance and composure to make it through.

With the likes of Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer, this team is heavily packed with World Champions. The only big concern for them is that England and Australian players would miss starting matches of the series. But they will be back with a bang and contribute to the team one way or the other.

Rajasthan Team Preview: Bowling Preview:

The team has a great arsenal in the form of Indian spinners. The likes of Leg Spinners like Shreyas Gopal, Mayank Markande and Rahul Tewatia are present in the team. It would be interesting to see how this team would manage their playing 11. Apart from leggies, this team also has off-spinner bowlers like Shashank Singh and Riyan Parag. Parag is spinning all-rounder who can bat well too.

There are no visible issues in the spin department. The pace bowling department is equally as fiery and dangerous as the spin department. Lead by England Fast bowler Jofra Archer and Aussie bowler Andrew Tye. Jofra’s pace and Tye’s variations would be very difficult for opposition batsman to face with. Ben Stokes provides those effective 4 overs too. So, it’s going to be the hard-fought battle for opposing teams.

While Jaydev Unadkat leads the Indian pace bowling department. Apart from him, likes of Varun Aaron and youngster Kartik Tyagi are present in the team. West Indies player Oshane Thomas is also added in the team. He is another great prospect in the field of fast bowlers. It is yet to see how Rajasthan would manage their playing eleven.

Rajasthan Team Preview: Batting Preview:

This team actually has three brilliant wicket-keeper batsman in the form of Josh Buttler, Robin Uthappa and Sanju Samson. It is most likely that Josh Buttler would play as a sole batsman and one of Robin Uthappa and Samson would play as a wicket-keeper batsman.

Youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal, the brilliant left-handed batsman could open with Josh Buttler. In his debut season, he could be the next big thing in the Indian cricket.

Steve Smith would likely play at No.3. Apart from Jaiswal, Indian batsman like Mahipal Lormor, Manan Vohara and Aniruddha Joshi are present in the team. The team lacks established Indian batsman who has played in the international arena more often. But the great quota of foreign players would likely take an initiative and perform for the team.

Likes of Ben Stokes would be very crucial for the team. The Allrounder is real match-winner for the team and he is rated as MVP(Most Valuable Player) for the team. Youngster Riyan Parag is also expected to perform for the team. We have to wait and watch how Rajasthan’s team would perform when they will play their first game against CSK on September 11.
