RCB vs SRH: Royal Challengers Banglore have won their first game of IPL 2020 campaign by 10 runs. Thanks to brilliant batting from Devdutt Padikkal and AB de Villers along with great bowling from Yuzvendra Chahal and Saini, they have made start to the competition with a bang. The form that they want to maintain for a long period of time.

RCB vs SRH: 1st innings:

Devdutt Padikkal and Aaron Finch opened for RCB. Padikkal, who is only 20 years old was batting in place of Parthiv Patel and he proved a statement to everyone regarding his worth for the team. Together with Finch, they made an opening partnership of 90 runs. After Padikkal got out to bowling of Vijay Shanker, Finch followed him to Pavillion shortly.

After openers did their job, Virat and ABD who have been crucial for RCB’s success tried to settle down a bit and finish off the game. Unfortunately, Virat got out for 14 runs. While ABD finishes off the game as he made 51 runs off just 30 balls. His innings included 4 fours and 2 sixes.

RCB felt they were sort for 20 odd runs as many expected they could reach the score of 180. Natrajan, Vijay Shankar and Abhishek Sharma took a wicket each. Two of their wickets were in the form of run-out.

RCB vs SRH: 2nd innings:

David Warner got out for cheap which left Sunrisers exposed in batting today. Warner’s counterpart Jonny Bairstow scored 61 runs off 41 balls. His innings included 6 fours and 2 sixes. Manish Pandey, coming to bat at No. 3 made a handy 34 runs off 33 balls. As he tried to anchor innings alongside Bairstow, it looked easy with for SRH.

When Bairstow got out, they were 121/3 off 15.2 overs chasing 164 runs. They lost remaining of their 7 wickets for just 32 runs. Yuzvendra Chahal and Navdeep Saini played a huge part in the collapse of SRH. Chahal took 3 wickets giving away only 18 runs in his 4 overs. His economy rate was 4.5.

Navdeep Saini and Shibham Dube bowled effectively as well. The duo picked 2 wicket each.
