Sandeep-Mujeeb duo proved once again as Tallahwas won their third game

Jamaica Tallahwas beat St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots by 37 runs, registering their third win of the tournament. The 18th game of the tournament had a late start due to late finish of Tridents and Knight Riders game.

Jamaica won the toss and batted first. Opener Glenn Phillips was awarded man of the match for his 79 runs innings which included 2 fours and 6 sixes. He along with minor contributions from other batsman got Jamaica Tallahwas score to 147/6. Given the bowling attack of Tallahwas team, the score was already hard for Patriots team to chase.

It happened exactly as expected. Spinners, Lamichhane and Mujeeb used to be key for Jamaica Tallahwas team in previous game and game before that. Pacers like Carlos Brathwaite and Fidel Edwards performed exceptionally well. Brathwaite took 3 wickets and gave only 11 runs at the economy rate of 3.

Nepali start sensation Sandeep Lamichhane took 2 wickets giving 27 runs off this 4 overs at the economy rate of 6.75. His dot ball count of this tournament has been impressive as youngster bowled 12 dot balls in this game itself.

Afghan star Mujeeb has been exceptional as he has been throughout the tournament. He took 1 wicket giving only 12 runs off his 4 overs at the impressive economy rate of 3.

Sandeep Lamichhane and Mujeeb would play full season of Carribean Premier League before returning Dubai for Indian Premier League duties for their respective teams.
